Digi Dread

Way up on Zion Hill in Bull Bay, St. Andrews, Jamaica, head-wrapped Bobo dread like Anthony B, Sizzla, Fantan Mojah and Jah Mason are hooking up DSL cables.

The Observer reports on Rastas interaction with technology. The Bobo's themselves break it down online, and are branching out in their symbology by attahcing the letter "R" and number "7" to their clothing.

Better that I contemplate the complexities of an intentional self-soverign community in rural Jamaica utilizing Babylon bag-o-wire-ology, than how I'm missing one of the best line-ups ever at Sierra Nevada World Music festival in Boonville.(Their web link was not responding as of Saturday at 5p.m.--maybe they need to get a Bobo IT worker to check it out...).
